Holler Hyundai Joins Other Dealers with
$50,000 Donation for Pediatric Cancer Research
Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children is local recipient
WINTER PARK, Fla. (May 24, 2011) — The need to fund more pediatric cancer research inspires Hyundai dealers nationwide, including Holler Hyundai here in Winter Park, to embrace the “Hope on Wheels” program sponsored by Hyundai USA. For each new Hyundai purchased, dealers donate a portion of the sales price to advance research inspiring hope for new treatments and cures. The Orlando-area Hyundai Dealer Association last week donated $50,000 through Hope on Wheels to the Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children. The grant will be used to support research at the hospital to find a cure for pediatric cancer.
Pediatric patients at the hospital also had the opportunity to leave their handprints in colorful paint on the driver’s side panel of a Hyundai Santa Fe donated by Holler Hyundai for the presentation. The vehicle currently is on display at the dealership.

With Purchase of Prime Dealership Site
WINTER PARK, Fla. (Dec. 16, 2010) — Holler-Classic today announced the purchase of 26.8 prime acres at Interstate 4 and State Road 46 in Sanford, former site of the Bill Heard dealership. The multimillion-dollar acquisition reinforces the Holler family’s commitment to Central Florida with dealerships that provide greater accessibility to residents throughout Seminole and Volusia counties.
Plans are to renovate and upgrade this premier commercial site in keeping with the Holler family’s commitment to automotive excellence, said Roger Holler III, vice president of Holler-Classic.
“The Holler and Classic group of dealerships is making another significant investment in Central Florida’s economy by purchasing this property,” Holler said. “We are rejuvenating the site with significant upgrades and new construction, adding opportunities as each phase of the project is completed.”
Renovations and new construction could be completed within a year. Additional details will be announced in the near future.
The prior owner closed the existing dealership in September 2008, resulting in the loss of more than 160 jobs, according to state records. The property has been vacant ever since.
The sale was negotiated by Brad Peterson, managing director of Holliday Fenoglio Fowler L.P., on behalf of lender GE Capital Real Estate.

October Local Heroes Focused on Health, Safety
WINTER PARK, Fla. (Nov. 5, 2010) — Central Florida community organizations Reynolds’ Right Hands and Women Playing for T.I.M.E. received honors as Holler-Classic Heroes in October for their contributions to health and safety of local residents.

Mickey Reynolds and Tyler Krause (not pictured), founders of Reynolds’ Right Hands, were recognized for their work to end distracted driving during the Oct. 23 University of Central Florida football game against the Rice Owls. The organization was formed by students at Crooms Academy in Sanford following the tragic
death of beloved teacher Christy Reynolds, who was struck in her vehicle by a driver who was texting while behind the wheel. Reynolds’ Right Hands campaigns locally against distracting driving and is urging state legislators to ban texting while driving.
J.P. Griffin (pictured left) and Janet Burke took the field during the Oct. 30 UCF football game against the East Carolina Pirates as representatives of hero organization Women Playing for T.I.M.E. This organization has raised nearly $8 million in the Orlando community since 1993 to support the fight against breast cancer. A partner with M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, Women Playing for T.I.M.E. raises funds through regular “play” activities such as golf, tennis and rowing events.

WINTER PARK, Fla. (Oct. 11, 2010) — Imagine 6 million bars of soap. That’s how much Paul Till, above left, and Shawn Seipler of Orlando nonprofit Clean the World have distributed to impoverished countries worldwide since 2009. The men were recognized during the Oct. 6 UCF Knights football game as Holler-Classic Heroes.
Clean the World collects, recycles, packages and distributes used soaps and shampoos from hotels and resorts around the United States. Major contributors to the program include Walt Disney World and Harrah’s.
Till and Seipler said that Clean the World aims to reduce the spread of disease and promote personal hygiene through their program. Holler-Classic is proud to recognize these hometown heroes and their important work!

ORLANDO, Fla. (April 29, 2009) – Audi of America on Tuesday inducted Classic Audi of Altamonte Springs into its prestigious Audi Magna Society, which recognizes dealership quality and exceptional customer service. It was one of just 35 Audi dealerships nationwide chosen for the 2008 society.
